About
I am a postdoctoral researcher in numerical analysis at the University of Zurich. I studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Berlin Mathematical School, and completed my PhD in 2024 with Carsten Carstensen on a posteriori error control for finite element methods.
My research sits at the interface of analysis and computation: I design methods for PDEs that are provably reliable and efficient, yet suitable for real world applications where accuracy and stability are critical. I focus on boundary integral formulations, adaptive finite elements, rigorous error estimation, and fast solvers. I also explore numerical verification/computer-assisted proof strategies.
Research Interests
- A posteriori error analysis for Galerkin and non-standard FEM
- Convergence theory and adaptivity in mesh-refinement
- Efficient solvers for large-scale PDEs
- High-accuracy computation of eigenvalue and semilinear problems
- Numerical verification and computer-assisted proofs
- Boundary integral methods for scattering in unbounded domains
